WILL
Within us all is placed a
power the development of which is
vital to the human race. Call it
what you wish; Will: Spirit: the
God in us—it is that power which
keeps us moving forward and upward
when circumstances tear at us with
phantom hands and t he flesh is
near exhaustion. It is of vital
importance that every child be
taught to develop to the fullest
extent this Spirit or Will that is
within, the developer of self-respect
which is the Kingdom of Heaven.

HAUGHTY PRIDE AND ITS VICTIM
"Pride goeth before a fall and a
haughty spirit before destruction."
Words uttered thousands of years ago,
but equally applicable to our time. Is
not haughty pride the root-evil of today,
the desire of man to prove himself
greater than those about him so that
he may dominate them by the control
of all things necessary to their
existence? Is not this thy: canker that
