Santa Lucia district in the Bay of Naples in Italy: It is night and the
moon is reflected in the sea. The boatman tells us of the
indescribable magic that one can feel while watching the boats in the
sea: how they sail softly, driven by gentle breezes. The boatman then
invites people to board his boat saying how you will admire the sea
and the city of Naples, Italy.
As the original primitive cabin was expanded, John Anderson set
about mapping the peninsula and preparations were soon made to
begin clearing portions of the land and setting in two orange groves.
During this period, John built a packing house on the plantation
property.

The New Britain Colony became Ormond in 1880 and John was
beginning to see some of his hard work taking hold in this tropical
paradise in the wilderness. With frequent visitors from the north
