John Anderson Drive
The original Santa Lucia Plantation River Road extending north along
the Halifax River was renamed “John Anderson Drive” after John
Anderson’s unforeseen death in 1911. This beautifully landscaped
curved road along the Halifax River has been referred to as
“Millionaires’ Row” in the early 1900’s and still lives up to this original
nickname. Many exclusive homes are situated along this memorial
road beginning at the eastern Granada Bridge landing and extending
north to High Bridge Road, just south of the North Peninsula State
Park.
