Three Otis water-pressure (steam driven) elevators were installed and
the one by the dining room was rather unique in that it was finished in
dark wood with a large portion of 3-walls covered by mirrors. Above
the mirrors was a border of iron grill work and a long leather covered
bench along the back wall offered comfort for guests.
